Actress Marilyn Monroe was born Norma Jean Baker in Los Angeles, CA on June 1st 1926. She was orphaned by her mentally ill mother at the age of 2. Her debut was in Shocking Miss Pilgrim in 1947. Marilyn Monroe starred in many top 10 movies including All About Eve, Some Like It Hot, The Seven Year Itch and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Her last movie was Something's Got to Give starring Dean Martin in 1962, she died before the movie was completed.
