Actress Gillian Anderson was born Aug. 9th 1968 in Chicago, Illinois. Her first movie, Three at Once, 1986. But she didn't gain fame until she played Special Agent Dana Scully on the X-Files with David Duchovny. Before The X-Files, she appeared topless in the movie The Turning. In 1994 Gillian Anderson had a daughter named Piper. She is currently working on A Cock and Bull Story and No One Gets Off in This Town. In 1998 she starred with Angelina Jolie in Playing By Heart. Also that year she starred in The Mighty with Sharon Stone.
